Thanks to All for Crane Park Festival

We couldn’t have pulled off our Barista Kids booth without so many awesome helpers last Saturday.
We thought we had plenty of sand and bottles for sand art, but kids blasted through our stash in less than an hour. Georgette’s DH ran to the craft store to replenish the goodies. He brought back loads of sandy goodness that only lasted one more hour. (Note to KK and GG: Order much more sand art stuff.)
Thankfully, Jeanette Lauture from Aunt Jean’s Toys & Treats gave us some fancy play-doh from her store that smelled like grapes. Kids liked that. Be sure to check out Aunt Jean’s Block Party next Sunday, October 4, outside her store at 11 a.m.
Nancy Breslin, our favorite creative CohabiTOT mommy, also saved the day when she appeared with face painting supplies. She painted the crowd while her DH chased their three small children around the festival.
Thanks also to Drina Holden and the Montclair Center Business Improvement District for inviting us. We also had a great time talking to the real Unbelieva-bill who did his magic show right next to us much to the delight of our own children.
The best part: We loved meeting so many of you who came out and showed us some love. It was a Fall day success. I just wish we’d brought a sweater. Oh, and some more sand art.
