Bloomfield High Does Antigone

Antigone, the classic Greek tragedy, is on again, this time on Bloomfield High School starting on Thursday. After these latest elections, a play about blind patriotism and civil disobedience is welcome.

Who: The Bloomfield High School Thespian Society
What: Antigone in a translation by Don Taylor and directed by Brandon E. Doemling
When: Thursday, 11-19, Friday, 11-20, and Saturday, 11-21 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Bloomfield College’s Van Fossan Theatre
Cost: Tickets are $8.00 and available in advance at Bloomfield HS Main Office or at the door.

    Not my favorite translation, but definitely one of my favorite plays. I wish them well!
