Opening in theaters’s today, just in time for Mother’s Day weekend, is Babies.
Babies follows four children from birth to toddlerhood with hardly any dialogue, no narration or subtitles. It’s just 80 minutes of watching how babies explore their worlds and how moms from other cultures raise their children.
Will you see the movie? Montclair’s Clearview Claridge Cinema will be showing it. Check showtimes here.
I’d like to see it. Although I have no interest in having any more children, watching little babies turns me into mush–and I’m guessing the director was targeting women like me. If you see it, give us your review in comments.

What a great trailer! I love the last clip of the goat drinking from the bath water. It just shows how sanitation differs to vastly from culture to culture and how people have been surviving with things that we as Americans would consider horrific.
Thanks for the post!
I really want to see this.
