Halloween Fun in Bloomfield

Bloomfield’s big Halloween celebrations are on Saturday, October 23. Start the morning off at Oakside Bloomfield Cultural Center at its annual Halloween Party and then head over to the town green for more spooky fun. Next week, head over to the local IHOP for spooky pancakes. Then on Sunday, get your Trick or Treat on.

Scream on the Green
All ages.
What: Fun Halloween celebration with refreshments, trick or treating, bean bag toss, guess the weight of the pumpkin, costume contest, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting and a magic show! Also enjoy Bloomfield High School Key Club’s Curse of the Black Mist, an age-appropriate Haunted House.
Where: Town green, Bloomfield, NJ.
When: Saturday, October 23 starting at 2 pm. Magic show at 3 pm. Curse of the Black Mist at 4 pm.
Cost: Free.

Bloomfield Annual Halloween Celebration
Who: All ages.
What: Come trick-or-treat frolic in the pumpkin patch and do some arts and crafts in celebration of Halloween! Don’t forget to check out the costume contest and magic show! Light refreshment will be available.
Where: Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center, Belleville Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Bloomfield High School.
When: Saturday, October 23 from 11 am – 3 pm.
Cost: Free admission.

Scary Face Pancakes
Who: Kids, ages 12 and under, who loves a pancake.
What:  Fuel up for Trick or Treating at your local IHOP and receive a create-your-own scary face pancake.
