Santa Photo-ops

Taking pictures on Santa’s lap is a yearly tradition, even if it means a photo of a screaming, terrified child on St. Nick’s lap. Here are some places to take a picture with the jolly old elf:

Willowbrook Mall
Bloomingdale’s Exhibit Court
Hours: Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 9 pm / Sunday: 11 am – 6 pm / Christmas Eve: Open all mall hours
Santa will be taking breaks Monday -Saturday 1 pm – 2 pm and 5 pm – 6 pm, Sunday 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

St. James Gate Publick House- Dickens Village Breakfast With Santa Event

Hours: Saturday, December 11 at 9:30 am.
Cost: Tickets are $10 and are available at the Village Wine Shop and No. 165.

Aunt Jean’s Toys & Treats

Hours: Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5 from 11 am – 3 pm

Famous Wayne Town Center Santa at Fairfield Garden Center
437 Route 46 West, Fairfield, NJ.
Hours: Monday-Saturday 11 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 12  pm – 5 pm. Wayne Town Santa will be in his traditional suit on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Tuesday, Thursdays and Sunday, Santa will wear his Victorian suit.
Santa breaks everyday from 3 pm – 4 pm.

Santa generally breaks to feed his reindeer from 1:30pm to 2:30pm and 5:30pm to 6:30pm Monday through Saturday and 2:30pm to 3:30pm on Sunday, subject to change.

Women’s Club of Glen Ridge – Winter Wonderland & Pictures With Santa

Hours: Saturday, December 4 from 11 am – 2 pm.
Cost: $35 per non-member family / $30 for member family.

Breakfast With Santa at South Mountain YMCA
13 Jefferson Avenue, Maplewood, NJ.
Hours: Saturday, December 4 at 9 am – 10 am, 10:30 am – 11:30 am, 12 pm – 1 pm or 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

Visit With Santa Hosted by NAACP
Location: The Firehouse, 1 Pine Street, Montclair, NJ, 07042.
Hours: Saturday, December 11 from 11 am to 3 pm and again Sunday, December 12  from 11 am to 3 pm.
Cost: $7. All proceeds will go towards sending students to the ACT-SO National Competition.

Fair in the Square – Pictures With Santa
Verona Civic Center (600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona) during Fair in the Square.
Hours: Saturday, December 4 beginning at 4:30 pm.
Cost: Free.

Baby’s Perfect Gift – Picture With Santa
195 Bellevue Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07043.
Hours: December 3, 4 and 5th from 12 pm – 3 pm. Bring your camera to take pictures.
Cost: Free. All store purchases over $25will receive a FREE children’s size hot chocolate next door at STICKY BUNS.

Pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus & Elves
Bloomfield Firehouse #3, 124 E Passaic Ave, Bloomfield, NJ.
Hours: December 11, 2010 and December 12, 2010 from 1 pm – 4 pm.
Cost: Free. Bring your dog, cat, and/or children to have a photo taken with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Elves for a minimum $10 donation. Hot chocolate and cookies are also available for any donation! All donations are for the medical care of the animals at the John A. Bukowski Shelter for Animals.

For years, we visited the Wayne Town Center Santa for pictures. He’s wonderful. Now, we are lucky enough to attend a friend’s annual holiday kickoff party where Santa attends. Where do you visit Santa for pictures?
