Here at Barista Kids, we are thankful for our awesome readers who continue to visit daily and support us.
Personally, I am thankful for one year in my first home (although I’m not thankful for Montclair’s taxes), my husband who makes me laugh and enjoys ice cream as much as I do and my beautiful, healthy girls who tire me out, but make me very happy.
Kristen shares, “This year in particular, I am thankful for my house in Montclair. We were able to purchase and renovate it, and it’s starting to feel like home.”
As editors sitting at the head of the table, we decided to go around the virtual table and ask those who contribute to Barista Kids in some way what each was thankful for….
“I am thankful to be able to stuff my face tomorrow when so many other people may not be so lucky. I’m thankful that my husband has a job, and we have been able to make it through the recession virtually unscathed. I am thankful for my son and daughter who are healthy and basically happy, and I’m thankful to be working and writing for great bosses, all of whom are pioneering women.”
~Stacey Gill, writer.
“I am thankful for good health and for my loving and supportive family.”
~Tara Williams, writer.
“I’m thankful for my husband, my kids and my wonderful community.”
~Alma Schnieder, contributor.
“My children are 7 and 3. I am so thankful for this fleeting time while they are young. I have been watching and listening to them confer over what Santa may bring them this year. My seven year old seems to be rather worried that the big guy might pick the wrong chimney on our roof to go down this year. I live for the magic and wonder in her eyes as she ponders this and tries to explain it to her brother. Although, I will welcome the tween and teenage years, right now I am grateful for the joy of having small children and the daily happiness they bring to my life.”
~Holly Korus-Jenkins, Ask Holly.
“I’m thankful for my amazing family, and of course our dog Chester.”
~Russell Simon, intern writer.
“My babies and drive thru coffee!”
~Dana Kelly, ad sales.
“I’m thankful for my kids, who let me read the paper in peace (well, almost) every morning.”
~Carolyn Maynard-Parisi, writer.
Happy Thanksgiving Baristaville!
What are you thankful for?

Thankful for too many things to count! Thankful that I have so much to be thankful for!
Thankful my comments are no longer winding up in the B’net spam folder!
Thankful for a great wife AND son, a decent place to live, a free country, reasonably good health, freedom given to all Americans, good schools and colleges and the American way of life and my grand personal car collection / hobby.
