One Montclair mama delivered a beautiful baby girl at home with the assistance of Montclair police officer Erica Peterson.
On the morning of December 3, Rebecca Williford-Brock was in labor and it was happening fast. Montclair police were dispatched to her apartment on Valley Road. Patrolwoman Erica Peterson, a five year member of the Montclair Police Department, arrived at the apartment and was directed into the bedroom by Rebecca’s mom.
Once in the bedroom, Officer Peterson assisted Rebecca Williford-Brock in delivering the baby. Officer Peterson cleared the baby’s airway and tended to her and Mrs. Williford-Brock until members of the Montclair Volunteer Ambulance Squad and Medics arrived on scene.
Mrs. Williford-Brock and the child were then transported to Mountainside Hospital for treatment. The baby girl, named Olivia Lyvon Brock, weighed six pounds, five ounces and was 19 ½ inches long. Mrs. Williford-Brock reports that both she and Olivia are in good health.

Olivia is beautiful! Great story.
