If you want spring to come now this is what we are going to do: we will ban together as a community. We will hot glue silk daffodils to surfaces we never dreamed possible and the warmer tempatures will come. We’ll stop that
winter spring snow from coming. The sun will shine the flowers will bloom and all will be well in Baristaville.
To make spring come faster this is what you will need:
- Straw wreath form 12′-18″
- 3-4 bunches of silk daffodils
- A warm tempature glue gun
- Yellow satin ribbon
Pull the daffodils of the stems. If they have long stems attached to the bases cut the stems short with a scissors. Hot glue the daffodils around the wreath top first in a staggard pattern and thend then fill in around the sides and in any bare spot on the front or sides. To finish the wreath off for a door add about three 2 1/2′ strips of satin ribbon glued or wired to the back-bottom part of the wreath.
You can also hot glue daffodils to syrofoam balls to create topiaries. Use straight sticks for trunks and insert them into pots packed tightly with soil and top with green moss.
