Girls on the Run Spring Registration is Up and Running

Girls on the Run NJ East, which recently celebrated its tenth year, is now accepting registration for its spring semester.

The 10-week program, for girls in grades 3 – 5, combines a national curriculum focused on building self-esteem and improving emotional and physical health with training for a 5K race. It’s offered in the following Baristaville towns: Montclair, Millburn and Maplewood, as well as in Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Hopewell, Summit, Westfield, Madison, Parsippany, Princeton, Morristown, East Windsor and Florham Park.

Who: Girls in grades 3 – 5.
What: 10-week running program for girls to increase self-esteem and improve physical and emotional health and awareness.
Where: Baristaville towns and beyond –
Montclair group meets at Brookdale Park.
Maplewood group meets at Memorial Park.
Millburn group meets at Taylor Park.
When: Programs begin in early April and run until mid-June.
