Kindiefest 2011 is finally here! Well almost, it’s on Sunday, May 1. But I’m counting down the days to the family music festival featuring leaders in the Kindie music scene.
The Verve Pipe, Elizabeth Mitchell & You Are My Flower, Tim & the Space Cadets, Oran Etkin, Heidi Swedberg & the Sukey Jump Band and Aaron Nigel Smith will entertain your family for four whole hours at Littlefield in Brooklyn, NYC.
If you have kids, you probably already are fans of some of these musicians. Even if you’re new to the family music scene, you’re sure to remember The Verve Pipe’s hit Freshmen that was #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 1996. Like many musicians, they jumped on the “Family Music” bandwagon and are making music for kids and their parents.
Thanks to the generosity of the cool people at Kindiefest, we have a collection of CDs from all of these artists for one lucky Barista Kids readers. That’s six CDs of great family music for your listening pleasure.
