Not that I want y’all there to see me in my bathing suit, but the Colony is fabulous. More like a lake than a pool, with a beach for the kiddies and plenty of trees and shade for whoever wants it. Great for hosting summer parties too.

FYI…I believe that Bradford doesn’t allow nannies so one might want to consider that crazy policy before forking over the fees to join!

I’m probably going to get a Montclair permit, but I’m hesitant because my kids are both still skittish about the water. Also, a friend had her head jumped on while in one of the pools last year. That makes this pseudo-helicopter parent a tad nervous about putting her kids in the pool. I don’t think their necks would handle the top-o-the-head trauma as well.

@mtcliving Bradford only allows members and their guests – there is no special discounted “nanny” membership category – why is that crazy? A club for members only? There are other local options. For sake of argument an individual who was a nanny could join at full rates – there is no prohibition against a person employed as a nanny joining just not any discounts like other places – the club members want to enjoy the pool with other members not people that are hired help – there are babysitters available at the club for those interested – they are comprised of members children – again why is this so crazy and why does it make you angry????
