We’ve been working hard on giving you all there is to know about summer in Baristaville. We have some great guides, which you can find on our sidebar, but we thought we would  make your life easier by putting them all together in one place. And that place is here.

We’ll start with the area’s most comprehensive list of summer camps:

Summer Camps For Little Kids
Summer Camp For Big Kids
Sleepaway Camps.

If your kid is going to an overnight camp, make sure you read our Old-School Summer Camp Tips, for some great advice.

With summer comes swimming and we’ve got the low-down on Baristaville pools. Check it out here.

Reading throughout the summer is very important. Click here for our great list of Homegrown Literature–New Jersey themed books that your family will love. Your local library offers free summer fun. Here’s what’s happening in the SOMA area and Montclair area libraries this season.

It wouldn’t be summer without delicious treats and good food. Go berry picking at a “Pick Your Own” farms, get ice cream at these shops and make sure to head to your local farmer’s markets for fresh, homegrown goods. Make these awesome burgers at your next BBQ and serve them up with a side of the best Mac and Cheese around.

And parents, no summer is complete without a really good cocktail. I’m loving Holly’s Pink Lemonade cocktail, specifically the cherry flavored one.

Here’s to a great summer!
