Maplewoodstock 2011: Tons of Fun For Kids

Maplewoodstock, the two-day free festival of local music and arts held in Memorial Park in Maplewood, is back this weekend for another awesome year of music, entertainment and family fun

In addition to all day music from talented bands, such as The Smithereens, Raul Malo, The Revelations to name a few, vendors and food, Maplewoodstock offers a great Kidzone. At the Kidzone, little ones can bounce to the music in bouncy houses, get their faces painted, do arts & crafts and cool down with ice cream.

(One thing to take note of–there will be Port-o-Potties throughout the festival, but if you have a kid who is freaked out by them and refuses to step in one (like mine), there are bathrooms at the Maplewood Train Station.)
