Attention Maplewood. An alien will land in Memorial Park Amphitheater on Friday, July 22. Don’t be afraid, he’s a very friendly extra-terrestrial.
Back again this year, the Maplewood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, the Maplewood Village Alliance, and Studio B, will offer Movie Under the Stars at memorial Park this summer. First up the 1982 hit E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. It’s a family classic and if your kids haven’t seen it yet, now is the time. What better way to watch that adorable little alien ride his bike in front of the moon than to be under it yourself? I was 9-years-old when I saw it in the theater and I loved it. My parents bought me the cutest E.T. doll that I slept with for years after seeing the movie.
