While doing your Back to School shopping this month, throw a couple more notebooks, pencil and heck, even backpacks, in your cart and donate them to Baristaville kids in need:

The Montclair Episcopal churches of St. John’s and St. James are sponsoring their annual Backpack Project. Please consider donating NEW backpacks for Montclair children in need, and dropping them off at either of the rectory offices.

St. John’s Episcopal Church
55 Montclair Avenue
Montclair, NJ 07042
973.746.2474

The Episcopal Church of St. James
581 Valley Road
Montclair, NJ 07043
973.744.0270.

On September 11, the backpacks will be filled with the appropriate supplies and distributed to Montclair elementary and middle school students who need them.

The Parenting Center of the South Orange-Maplewood School District is collecting school supplies (notebooks, pencils, pens, binders, backpacks, etc…) and gently used picture books for kids in all-grade levels in South Orange-Maplewood schools.

Donations can be dropped off at:

The Parenting Center
525 Academy Street, 2nd floor, Board of Education building
Maplewood, NJ
