    Mine is probably a three. It’s a little icky, but it’s not going to hurt anyone. My anxiety would be more about getting the kids to sit still for the treatment than anything else. Honestly, I’d probably splurge and call the Lice Lady of Montclair. I think they’d behave more for her than for me.

    I’m a 7, and feeling itchy just thinking about it. Having a kit ready for the inevitable would help!

    Mine is probably a 5, which means I’m kind of freaked out by them, because intellectually I know they deserve nothing more than a 2 or 3 on this scale. I try to reserve my worst anxiety for life and death issues, severe health impairments, etc. But we’ve never had them and I’d like to keep it that way. Somehow we’ve managed to avoid them year after year, even when “best friends” get them. Would love to “be prepared” regardless, with three girls.
