On Wednesday, October 12, Montclair kids joined First Lady Michelle Obama along with the help of National Geographic Kids to break the record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour time period. It was all part of the “Let’s Jump” campaign, the National Geographic Kids movement to get kids outdoors and live an active, healthy life.

The photos above are from Nishuane Elementary School, which had approximately 500 kids jump for one minute during their recess periods.
