It’s that time of year — time to put up your Christmas tree!

If you’re the real deal and would never go artificial, you’re in luck. Around Baristaville, choices for Christmas trees abound. Want to go rustic? Head out to western Jersey or up to the border of New York state for a true cut-it-yourself tree experience. Looking for a quick pick-and-wrap experience? We’ve got you covered.

Here’s the scoop on where to get your Christmas tree:

We bought our tree from a nursery last year and paid $90 for it – it was nothing special and we definitely over-paid for it. This year we got our tree at Home Depot for just $35, great deal! The sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgable, I highly recommend simple Home Depot for those on a budget!

We went to Shale Hill Farms over the weekend. Many of their cut your owns were in bad shape, mbrowning from the inside out. We weren’t the only one to leave without a tree that morning. Just got ours tonight at vendor in the parking lot in the WO Whole Foods/KMart lot. Any tree for $29.99…extra for a fresh cut and/or netting. Tree was in great shape, and selection there was super.
