Speaking of Valentine’s Day, the sweet holiday will be here soon. Nothing says Valentine’s Day better than sweets and The Little Daisy Bake Shop knows sweets. But they need your help, actually, they need your kids’ help.

Owner and Montclair mom, Jennifer Snyder has announced the bake shop’s first Valentine’s Day Design Contest. Kids ages 12 and under can draw their very own version of a perfect Valentine for a chance to have their winning design printed out in edible ink and put on their very own cake!

Here are the details:

The Contest:

  1. Draw your very own version of a perfect Valentine in the heart shape provided.
  2. The winner will get their drawing printed out in edible ink and put on their very own cake!
  3. The Bake Shop will display every entry in the Bake Shop for all to see!

How To Enter:

1. Print out the heart by clicking here or pick one up at the Bake Shop at 626 Valley Road in Montclair.
2. Draw whatever you like inside the heart to represent your own perfect Valentine. It can be for yourself, a family member, a teacher, anyone you wish.

Rules:

  1. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
  2. Entries must be turned in to The Little Daisy Bake Shop located at 626 Valley Road, Montclair. 973-707-2157.
  3. All kids ages 12 and under are eligible to win. Kids 3 years old and under will be eligible to win a gift bag. Kids ages 4-12 will be eligible to win the printed image cake.

The quaint little bakery, which opened in October, didn’t need long to become a local favorite. My family loves it because we can all enjoy the delicious treats–they are a completely peanut/nut free bakery. In addition to the delicious cakes, cookies, whoopie pies and other sweet treats, you can now buy local favorite Lou Palma’s homemade bread and The Little Daisy’s very own unique blend of coffee. It’s exclusively roasted for The Little Daisy Bake Shop by Java Love Coffee Roasting.
