Updated with exact location and quote form Jeanette Lauture:

One of Montclair’s awesome toy stores, Aunt Jean’s Toys & Treats, is moving from its current location on North Willow Street to 45 Church Street.

I’ll admit we were worried when we saw a Tweet from owner and Montclair mom Jeanette Lauture selling the Puppet Theater from the store. We immediately thought she was closing, like many other Montclair stores these days. But no, she assured us she was moving to one of Montclair’s prime blocks. Jeanette expalined, “We want more families to experience shopping with us.  After five years in our present location, we loved being on Willow but wanted to shake things up in 2012 and what better place to that but on Church Street.”

Jeanette opened up Aunt Jean’s in March 2007, and immediately began throwing Block Parties to raise money for the community, Spring Egg Hunts, Family Treasure Hunts, offering puppet shows and more. She quickly became a much loved business for families in town.

The Grand Opening of the new digs will be on April 1, but you can still shop and enjoy family events at the North Willow location until then, such as:
