There’s a new toy store in Millburn—Rosie Hippo.

Stocked with beautiful toys, and an eco-friendly mission, everything they sell is “unique, uncomplicated, inspiring, well-constructed, safe…and most of all, fun!” All toys are free of toxins and harmful substances and sourced when possible from companies using sustainable wood, organic fabrics and recycled materials.

The store’s owner, Kim Bloom, envisions Rosie Hippo also serving as a community resource and offering events and activities for children and families in the future.

The store’s grand opening was on October 3, with an official ribbon cutting and a ribbon craft and healthy snacks for kids.

Brands sold include HABA and Plan Toys. The store has a great collection of wooden puzzle and mosaicscooperative games as well as lots of Rosie Hippo Exclusives like the moving truck ($44) pictured below:

Before opening the Millburn storefront, Rosie Hippo has been an online retailer at RosieHipppo.com with additional toys, books and arts and crafts supplies available there. Rosie Hippo is also on Twitter @RosieHippo and on Facebook: /RosieHippoToys.
