A few inches of snow are expected beginning late this afternoon. It’ not that much and not really sledding weather, but just in case and for future reference, here’s where you and the kids can go snow sledding.
Don’t forget those helmets!
Here are some good spots to go dashing through the snow:
Upper Mountain Avenue from Laurel Avenue to Mt. Hebron Road
Montclair, NJ, 07043
Note: After a significant snowfall and once the street has been plowed, Upper Mountain Avenue closes between Windsor Place and Mt. Hebron Road to allow for supervised sleigh riding at Mountainside Park during the following times: Weekends, holidays and school snow days – 12 – 4 pm.
Montclair, NJ, 7043
Brookdale Park: Rose Garden Hill
Glen Ridge, NJ
North Ridgewood Road
South Orange, NJ
Maplewood Memorial Park
Dog hill/amphitheater, opposite the train station.
Jefferson Elementary School
518 Ridgewood Road
Redwood Elementary School
75 Redwood Avenue
West Orange, NJ
