Weekend Highlights: Lots of Canceled Family Events, But Still Ways to Have Fun

Are you shaking your fist cursing Nemo because of all the canceled family events you wanted to enjoy? I am. One of the things my family really wants to do is see NJSO’s Peter and The Wolf family concert tomorrow at 2 pm. I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t get canceled.

Still, there are still ways to have fun this weekend. We are trying our best to update any cancellations and rescheduled events, but please call the venue before you head out just in case. Make sure to check our Calendar to find out all the local happenings and details.     Gas Lamp Players presents THE WIZARD OF OZ this weekend! The show must go on! The Wizard of Oz has TWO PERFORMANCES today and tomorrow — today, Saturday, at 2 and 7PM, tomorrow, Sunday, at 2 and 6:30PM! Essex County Department of Emergency Operations has given approval for OZ patrons to park on Ridgewood Ave. The Glen Ridge Police have been notified.
    The Ridgewood Ave School, 235 Ridgewood Ave. in Glen Ridge, is currently clearing the walkways and parking lot! TO OZ? TO OZ! http://www.gaslampplayers.org/
