Hello Flo Tampon Subscription Service and Best Period Ad Ever

Hello FloLadies, imagine a package delivered to your doorstep every month, with just the right amount of tampons and pads needed for your period—you choose your plan from “low flo to heavy flo($14 – $18 per month)—plus some candy to satisfy those cravings. No more last minute runs to CVS for more tampons, no sending your husband to get pads. Hello Flo, a new tampon and pad subscription service can do all that.

Hello Flo, describes itself as “Tampon delivery. Period Simplicity,” and was created by a woman, Naama Bloom, who explains why she started Hello Flo on the website:

There are plenty of reminder apps and a bunch of ways to have boxes of “fem care” products shipped each month. But neither really solves all the problems involved. Wouldn’t it be great, I thought, if I had a reminder service that also delivered the right products at the right time? Why hadn’t anyone created a customized solution like this for women? I stewed on this idea for some time, when finally my husband told me to stop complaining about the fact that this didn’t exist and start building.

Whether you think there’s a real need for a tampon subscription service, Hello Flo does offer something unique for your daughters. The Hello Flo “Period Starter Kit” is packed with supplies for a girl’s first period. It also comes with a “Get Ready Guide” for girls and one for parents, a cute canvas pouch for carrying supplies on the go, a Feby bracelet kit and surprise gifts and goodies.

And the Hello Flo people have also created the best menstrual ad EVER. Period.:

Awesome right? Is Hello Flo something you would use? Do you think the Period Starter kit is something a girl would welcome from her parents?

That Camp Gyno ad is just amazing! The little actress did a great job, very funny.

Georgette, this is the most sexist site I have ever seen. You have all these articles on tampons and nipple cream and not much at all of interest to Aqualung (ie, PAZ and me).

Think of it, it’s like having a birthday party once a month. Hello Flo will make a great addition to Facebook and Twitter, for everyone.

Georgette, I always thought your “Semen for Morning Sickness” post had been sponsored by PAZ and walleroo. Do you think this means that their closest and dearest still haven’t read it?

How could I possibly have missed that one? I take it all back, Georgette, every word. Aqualung couldn’t be happier. Keep it up! (Pardon the pun.)
