Letter to Santa

The letter to Santa is a special tradition, which can be made even more special by having Santa send back personal reply. Here are two ways to make it happen:

If you want the letters from Santa to have a North Pole postmark, just do this:

  • Purchase stamps at any post office.
  • Affix the stamps to envelope of your choice.
  • Address the sealed envelopes, with the cards enclosed, to those on your mailing list.
  • Mail them in a larger envelope, box, Priority Mail or Express Mail package to:

ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998

You must send it in before December 10 to receive it by Christmas!

NOTE: This is only for Montclair residents!

Did you know that Santa has his own mailbox in Montclair? Well he does, and your kids can mail their letters to him right in town and receive a personalized letter in return.

Have your child write Santa a letter (before December 18!) and mail to:

205 Claremont Avenue
Montclair, NJ 07042

Letters may also be dropped off at the Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs. Please remember to include a return address — Santa knows a lot of things, but if he’s without a return address, he won’t know who to send his reply to.

    Dear Santa, I’ve been pretty good this year, all things considered. Who’s perfect? Not even you, I’ll wager. For instance, last year I really did not like that blue fleece robe you left me, the one from Target. I don’t wear robes, how many times do I have to tell you? Anyhoo, here’s my list:

    1) Macallan’s 18. A case would be nice, the price has gotten a little steep ever since the Chinese developed a taste for the stuff;
    2) Any kind of car with a top that comes down, doesn’t have to be a Porsche, I’m not greedy;
    3) One of those tan iPhones, 64G, I have a lot of pictures;
    4) Some sh*t for my pet fly.

    Thanks Santa. Let me know when you’re in town and we’ll sked a lunch.
