Presented by ValleyArts, the family-friendly festival is located at and around 580 Forest Street in Orange, and is within easy walking distance of the Highland Avenue train station on the Morris & Essex line, or by car from the Garden State Parkway to I-280. The first-ever Summer Sparks Camp from the YMCA of Montclair will run June 23–August 8 at the Forest Avenue School in Verona. The program is for kids entering 1st through 6th grade.

This enrichment camp will inspire campers with a variety of activities. Summer Sparks activities include:

  • Pop Up Book Art, campers will create their own books
  • Dribble, Dribble, Shoot, where basketball, fitness and fun all come together
  • Around the World in Arty Days, takes campers to exotic locations with art
  • Einstein for Everyone, campers will face the same problems, puzzles and mysteries that Einstein faced and discover the thrill of making revolutionary scientific discoveries through hands on activities, experiments and demonstrations
